So it’s about that time of year to start thinking of New Year Resolutions. Most people get really excited about these, but I can’t say that I do. In fact, I secretly hate New Year Resolutions. Way too much pressure. Because I NEVER, I mean NEVER, follow through with ANY of them. If I did, I’d be way skinner, my skin would be healthier, I'd be healthy, my house would always be cleaner, I’d be in college, and well, my life would be perfect. I mean, my daily to-do lists always go on forever and usually everything doesn’t get done, so by adding New Year Resolutions, that’s just another thing. And I’m just not down for that.
Last year I didn’t make one. Well, I probably said that this year I’m going to work out more and lose weight. Ok I’m 0 for 1. Haha.
This year, I think this will be my New Year Resolution: Make an everyday resolution! Everyday I’ll make one specific goal to complete before the end of the day. (Cleaning and taking care of Landon does not count.) Then, by the end of the year, I probably would have completed a lot more. In fact, I’d complete 365 things, rather than the 10 I’d make on that New Year’s list.
And then everyday I’ll feel accomplished; rather than you have to wait a year to see if you’ll fully complete your New Year Resolution.
Exactly 2 weeks will be New years Eve. Bring it on.
