I am discovering, which each passing day, I’m just getting old.
OLD. If in your head right now, your questioning what my age is- It’s 20.

There are signs that I’m getting old. Such as: the other day I found myself in the Women’s clothing at Kohls. Not the juniors. Every night I put anti-wrinkle cream on my face. I even offer to share with Drew, he always denies. One day, when he realizes he’s getting old- he’ll join in on this routine. My son is (almost, not quite, but almost) not a baby anymore. He actually somewhat communicates now. I’m too cool for the clubs and feel like I have more ‘important things to do’ than hang out at the club and drinking- such as catching up on a book or looking at cool photography. I find myself talking about these things: Babies, weddings, anniversaries, lawn care, house renovations, etc. Oh and if it’s gossip- it’s about how someone has not grown up yet. I’m getting old, I’m facing this.
In order to not get old so quickly, I’m finding new hobbies. I’ve said before that I am going to learn to play guitar. I have not yet. I’m working on that. BUT. Something cool that I’m going to try to do: I’m going to make a Photoblog! I’ve been searching Craigslist, Ebay, and such to find a, as I call them, ‘cool camera’. I want one like my photographer friend’s (so I can have cool pictures like her’s: thatgirljboe.blogspot.com) but it’s a little over-priced and I’m a little under-experienced. I found some candidates on Craigslist so I asked Jean how she felt about them. She said something about filters and it’s a good deal. I wish I knew what filters were and what their purpose was in the camera world. I have a lot to learn- so this should be a good (time consuming) hobby.
Also. I’d like a garden. I highly dislike yard work. I’ve never mowed a lawn, ever. When I was a young(er) tike and resided at my dad’s house, he let me do one line. I somehow screwed it up. He said the line was crooked. I called him anal and walked in the house and slammed the front door. After that I never attempted yard work again. This year, I think I’ll take a go at it.
I’d love some of these:
I'm going to do alot more thrift-store shopping.
I'm going to find a new artist/band at least once a week that I greatly enjoy.
I'm going to attempt to get some excersize in each day.
I'm going to, each day, realize how beautiful this life is... and quit taking days for granted; because after all, I am getting old.

First of all - you're only as old as you feel! If you feel youthful forever - then you'll be youthful forever. Second - I think a photo blog sounds awesome, I hope you start one soon. And lastly, I was in the same position you were (in regards to gardening) two years ago. I was always frustrated with it, and got mad when it wasn't perfect. But that's the beauty of it right? It doesn't have to be perfect - as long as you're having fun, who cares if the lines are crooked? Life is crooked! I say go for it :)
